It tastes sooo good when it hits my lips
Having been in Charleston almost a year now, I definitely have a few things I miss from the ATL. Of course my friends and family. Our neighborhood homeless guy Ernest. Brunswick stew and grill cheese from Old South. You know…the usual stuff. But without question, the number one thing I miss is Sweetwater 420!
This beer was my staple in Atlanta. It is literally the perfect beer. Locally brewed, excellent hoppy but not too hoppy flavor. A “session” beer it has been called by some. Amazingly enough this masterfully crafted extra pale is not sold in Charleston 
Now I don’t want to diss the local breweries here…OK I do. They arent so hot. In fact I have been so underwhelmed that my by beer of choice since I’ve moved here has become Blue Moon. It is awesome on tap with an orange and seems to fit the whole vibe here for some reason.
Anyway….
Well I must have done something right because my mother-in-law “Mimi” showed up yesterday to visit us for a week and she had 4 TWELVE PACKS WITH HER! Ahhhh Yeah!! All hail Mimi!
Attention family and friends…or anyone traveling from Atlanta to Charleston for that matter…bring 420. You will be rewarded!
