The Daily Bridge
Every day I drive over one of the most amazing pieces of architecture in the US. The Ravenel or Cooper River Bridge in Charleston is a stunning suspension bridge that still wows me on a daily basis. I am amazed at how different it looks each morning and night. Some mornings it is completely engulfed in fog that suddenly breaks as I reach the crest of the bridge. Other days the sun illuminates each one its long cables turning it into this sparkly enormous sculpture. The way the bridge is lit at night provides even more variation.
I have found myself on a pretty regular basis holding my iPhone out the sun roof as I drive over the bridge to grab photos. I have decided to put them all under one photo set on my flickr page HERE
